When applying, please send an email to the above email address with the subject line "Application for Summer Holiday Science Class for Parents and Children" and the body of the email with the name and furigana in Chinese characters of the parent and child, the name of the elementary school and grade, and the name of the class you wish to attend. We will send you a confirmation email later. Please note that the application will be closed when it reaches the maximum number.

Lecture 1: "Let's observe blood cells" ~Let's make and observe specimens and learn how cells work~.
Our blood is approximately 81 TP3T of our body weight. Blood residues contain red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets, which carry nutrients and oxygen and play a major role in immunity and hemostasis. In this course, you will first make your own slide specimens of blood, stain them, and examine them under a microscope. You will also learn briefly about the size and function of each object.

Lecture 2 "Let's Build a Directional Magnet Tower" ~The Earth is a Giant Magnet. The Wonder of Powerful Permanent Magnets~.
The earth we live on is a giant magnet. In this course, you will learn how a compass works and assemble your own tower-shaped compass using a strong permanent magnet to realize how the needle moves in accordance with the earth's magnetic field lines. By first looking for good north, you will be able to find east, south, and west. Also, you will be able to experience the properties of N- and S-pole magnets, and learn that the same poles repel each other *Craft kit: "We will make it grow.
