Takatsugu Saito
Born in Tokyo in 1998. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts with a major in painting. Drawing on political philosophy and childhood memories, he creates imaginary found objects and installations. Through a variety of media including painting, sculpture, and graphics, he encourages us to reconsider the other world, the means to get there, and our behavior and relationships related to it. Recent major exhibitions include the solo exhibition "It's Only a Paper Moon" (Art Studio KYOK, 2023) and the group exhibition "1998_oid" (LURF gallery, 2025).Ran Kokubun
Freelance photographer based in Tokyo and Hokkaido. His work focuses on geographical and historical boundaries. Major exhibitions include "Looking for Herring" (Tenjinyama Art Studio, Sapporo), "In the Pool" (KG+Gojozaka Kyo-yaki Noborigama, Kyoto), "Behind the Terrain" (traveling exhibition in Yogyakarta, Hanoi and Tokyo), " Yukisnowschneesneg" (Atelier Alen, Munich). He has also exhibited at art fairs abroad.
Portrait photography experience is available.
★We are creating a work based on our research of the town of Sasazuka. We are looking for people who can show us photos of their memories.
Yuri Yamada
Born in Tokyo. Doctoral student in the Graduate School of Fine Arts at Tokyo University of the Arts. He creates installations through fieldwork and interviews in Japan and abroad on the theme of the transformation of "society" as perceived by individuals. Major exhibitions include "In between" (Japan-German Center Berlin, 2024) and "Mamazasu Difference vol. 4 COMPASS" (Kunstakademie der Kunst Münster, 2024).
Hatagaya
Minori Manabe
Born in Tokyo. His main focus is on language expression, human perspective, and physicality, and he aims to create experiences that anyone can enjoy and reinterpret through the body. His solo exhibitions include "multi-lingua-body" (Arts Council Tokyo [start-up grant]), and his awards include the SICF20 Wacoal Study Hall Kyoto Incentive Award. Graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, The University of Tokyo, and the Advanced Information Expression Course, Department of Interdisciplinary Information Studies, Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies, the same university.
Seiichi Kobayashi
Born in Niigata, Japan in 1994. Graduated from the University of South Australia. He uses silkscreen to create paintings that show the process of production and the use of tools and materials themselves. He has participated in the solo exhibition "Space and Improvisation" (FEFTspace, Adelaide, 2021) and the group exhibition "Open your eyes, close,close,close" (Site-A Gallery, 2023). In 2023, he also participated in a residency in Cheongju, Korea.
Mikiko Kamada
D. in Agriculture from the Graduate School of Horticulture, Chiba University. In 2020, he held his first solo exhibition, "(in)visible forest" at Gallery Art for Thought in Ginza, Tokyo. The exhibition was an attempt to visualize invisible life. He is currently exhibiting "Infinite Metamorphosis," a collaborative work with producer Shoji Kawamori at the Signature Pavilion "Adventure of Life" at Expo '70 Osaka, Japan.
