Good news for the souvenir rut neighborhood! A royal and fashionable Japanese confectionery shop was born in Nishihara! @Gokasho Hujasyo

There are many wonderful western and Japanese confectionery shops in the Sasahatahatu area that are perfect for souvenirs and gifts!
However, for those with a discerning palate or those who have already passed the buck, you may find yourself at a loss for what to do.
Even those of us who visit my parents' house a few times a year with souvenirs, each time we are left scratching our heads wondering, "What should I do next?

For those in such a souvenir rut, I would like to recommend "Gokasho Hujasyo" that opened in the Nishihara shopping district!
The store, renovated from an old store, looks like an old shop in Kyoto.
In the lean and sophisticated store, cozy and elegant Japanese sweets are displayed.

The standard items were Daifuku (bean-shaped rice cake), Daifuku (sesame-shaped rice cake), "Fu Fu Fu" (creative pastry using Nikki), and moon cakes. In addition, there were two or three seasonal products. (All priced around 300 yen).
In September, when we visited, there were yokan-like fresh sweets made from Tottori's 20th Century Pears, Nikki Mochi, and mizu-yokan, each of which was explained to us in detail by the store staff. Just listening to the explanation was enough to make me think, "What in the world does that taste like? What on earth does it taste like? I was excited.

This time, I bought several kinds of fresh sweets, mainly fresh sweets, according to the number of people gathered. Among them, I had the rather unusual sesame daifuku.
The rice cake is not too soft but satisfying, the sesame seeds have a delightful crunchy texture, and the sweetness of the red bean paste is moderate, so one was finished in no time!

The shelf life of the fresh pastries was the same day, but the wind and moon cakes will last for several days, so it would be good to use them at different times.
You can enjoy each season, wondering what kind of elaborate wagashi you will encounter next... perfect not only as a souvenir, but also for spending a relaxing time at home.
Just visiting this restaurant will make you feel fulfilled.
