Globalization and information technology are advancing rapidly. The environment and lifestyles of children are undergoing drastic changes. Suicide and truancy are on the rise. The growing difficulties of children may be an indication that adults, who are themselves being tossed about by the waves of the times, are unable to act as a bulwark against the children.
This time, Mr. Okui, Vice Principal of Harajuku Gaien Junior High School, will talk about "change" among children and their parents. How are children changing and who and what kind of people are expected to be involved? We would like to provide an opportunity for you to share your insights from the field of education and to think about the outlook for children's places based on the "current situation and issues in schools".
