In anticipation of the 140th anniversary of the hospital's opening on November 17, 2026, the center will hold Open Hospital 2025 with the local community under the catchphrase "Toward the 140th anniversary of the opening of JRCMH, which will continue to light up with you" this year.
The Open Hospital, which has been held every year, will not be held next year due to a major internal project.
Therefore, this year we are celebrating our 140th anniversary with you.

Handwashing is the basis of infection control. Check for leftover wash by applying fluorescent substance to your hands. This is a popular and fun way to learn how to wash hands properly. Ride a wheelchair or stretcher and experience bumpy roads and twists and turns! You can learn the "importance of compassion" from perspectives you would not normally notice. Also, medical safety slogans will be on display and being solicited at the same time. Why don't you think about future safety with us?

Director's Piano Concert +α [See/Learn
Performed by the Director (who is also a certified piano instructor) who has performed at the Untitled Concert. He will be joined by staff members who play violin and flute for a half hour full of masterpieces. The content may change between morning and afternoon. Young children are welcome.

Let's learn about medicine!
Are you using your medicine correctly? Try your hand at dispensing medicine with snacks! You can participate on the day of the event after 2:00 p.m. reservations are accepted. Pharmacists will explain about improper use and overdose of medicines in an easy-to-understand manner. In addition to the poster display, you can learn how to use medicines correctly in a fun way. Participants will also receive an original medication notebook.

Next year, the JRC will celebrate the 140th anniversary of its opening. We will look back on the history of the hospital with a chronological table and exhibit models of the current hospital building and the building that was used before that. Please come and see the history of medical care nurtured over the long history of the hospital.

On the same day, an autumn festival will be held at the adjacent general welfare center "Recross Hiroo".
The day will be filled with events for everyone in the community to enjoy, so be sure to stop by and say hello.
The Japanese Red Cross College of Nursing's school festival "Cloarges Festival" will be held on October 4 (Sat), so it will not be held on the same day as the Open Hospital.
