Mochi Pounding Festival sponsored by Hatagaya Naka-cho Town Association
The year of the snake is said to be a year of positive attitude toward new challenges and changes. The residents of the town will join forces to hold an ancient mochi pounding event here at "CROSS St.".

Event details: Mochitsuki (rice-cake pounding), Komotaru (a barrel of rice cakes), disaster prevention quiz, giant card game, children's playground, etc.

2. Single person 1,000 yen
3. Town council officers 1,000 yen
First 50 bags will be given away as a gift
*You are welcome to bring local dishes from your hometown, leftovers from Osechi (New Year's Day), home brewed sake, etc.!
