What is voluntary childcare?
I want to let my child play outside as much as possible,
We want to develop children's "ability to think and live by themselves," and what can we do to achieve this?
With this in mind, we hold an information session once a year for those who are raising children on a daily basis.
Children are welcome to join us,
Those interested in the Ohisama no Kai and voluntary childcare,
Of course, if you are considering joining,
Babies are also welcome to attend.

Location: Yoyogi Park
*In case of rain, the event will be held at a public facility near Sendagaya Station.

Instructor Yukie Kanno, Ph.
(Professor, School of Community and Human Sciences, Aoyama Gakuin University)
Dr. Sugano, a.k.a. "Kan," who has been interested in independent childcare as a place for children to grow and has done a lot of fieldwork while teaching developmental psychology to students who want to become kindergarten teachers and nursery school teachers, will talk about independent childcare.
They participate in Harajuku Ohisama no Kai activities about once a month and are a big and indispensable part of the children and their mothers.

We will talk about the outline and operation of the Harajuku Ohisama no Kai, as well as the condition of the children, including the following

Members and current members who are raising three children (middle school student, 5th grader, and 5-year-old) at Ohisama will talk about their experiences through voluntary childcare and what has happened to children who have graduated from the program.
Participation fee: Free of charge
*Childcare is not provided, but children are welcome to attend while playing.
*After the exchange meeting, those who have time will have lunch time with Dr. Sugano and the Ohisama mothers, so please bring your own lunch.
