Shibuya Ward Council of Social Welfare Community Welfare Coordinators will start a food pantry project.
What is a food pantry?
This is an initiative to provide free food to those who have difficulty securing food due to economic hardship and are in need of emergency food support. Donations from families, businesses, and organizations are the source of funds.

(1) Residents of Shibuya Ward
(2) Those who are in need of food and livelihood due to single parent, unemployment, poverty, etc. (In principle, welfare recipients are excluded.)
(3) Those who are willing to continue to receive consultation and support at the "Welfare Consultation Service" *2
Contents
Rice, retort pouch/instant foods, canned foods, confectioneries, etc. (Amount and contents will vary depending on donation status)

For those who wish to use the food pantry, the community welfare coordinator will listen to their problems and concerns and provide ongoing support in cooperation with local residents and related organizations.
