If they saw each other on the street, they would greet each other and talk, and if they saw something out of the ordinary, they would ask if everything was all right. The Sasahatahatu-cho bulletin board was created with the hope of helping to revitalize the community by disseminating information about events and mutual aid that would encourage such friendships among neighbors in Sasazuka, Hatagaya, and Hatsudai.
