On the way home, you may have a feeling that something might be around the corner. I sometimes have such a feeling.
Whether it is anticipation or anxiety, "something" changes depending on one's feelings, but "mononoke" is a form of imagination that suddenly enters our daily lives.
Giving a name or a story to something that may not be there creates a story, and that story may change us a bit.
