10:00: Preparations for the festival
11:00: Purification of the shrine from Hachiman Shrine
16:30: Departure of children's portable shrines and floats (parade around the town)
18:30 Start of Awaodori (18:30 Ceremony / 19:00 Start / 21:00 End)
Tuesday, 23rd (national holiday)
9:00: Preparations for the festival
10:00: Departure of children's portable shrines and floats (parade around the town)
Returns around 11:00 a.m.
13:30: Children's portable shrine (no floats)
*Returns around 15:00
18:30 Start of Awaodori (18:30 start/)
End at 21:00)
Wednesday, 24th
10:00:Clearing out the sake brewery/purging the tool warehouse
*Toll: Hatsudai Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on both 22nd and 23rd.
All events will be held rain or shine.
