The summer heat wave is finally over and it is time for the Autumn Festival. We would like to invite you to participate in the mikoshi festival and also invite you and your family to join the children's mikoshi and floats to create fun memories for your children. We look forward to your participation.
Sasazuka District Hikawa Shrine Festival

Children's portable shrines and floats parade in the town Assembly time 10:00 (10:30~11:30)
Adult Mikoshi parade in front of Sasazuka Station and town parade Gathering time 13:00 (13:30~18:00)

Adult Mikoshi Seihoku-cho Kai parade in the town assembly time 13:00(13:30~18:00)
1. Children must wear shoes or tabi socks (with rubber soles). Sandals are not allowed, as they may cause accidents.
Children who will carry the portable shrine (3rd grade elementary school students and above) are requested to gather in front of the sake brewery at the time of the assembly. On the day of the event, hanten (traditional short coat) will be lent out (first 30 children to arrive). Children in 2nd grade and younger are welcome to join the float. Sweets will be given to participating children.
Cake tickets will be exchanged only for the day of the event. (Cake tickets for the day before, the day after, or if you do not participate in the event, you will not receive them.) (No tickets will be handed out for the day before or the day after the event, or if you do not attend the event.

5. Please understand that we try to hold the festival solemnly every year, so we cannot carry the festival except in preparation for the festival.
Hanten and tabi socks will be provided and lent by the town council, but please bring your own koiguchi, navy blue loincloths, etc.
