In a nutshell, it is a type of folk dance born in the United States. It is easy for people of any age to start as long as they can walk in rhythm with the music.
There is no fixed music or dance moves. You can enjoy the ever-changing dance under the direction of the "caller," who instructs the dancers to dance to the music. What kind of instructions will be given and what kind of movements will be performed depend on the occasion.
This dance is as fun as a puzzle or a game, and as beautiful as a million flowers!
