We are looking for a lot of people to help us out!
* Adults who want to make rice cakes are welcome*.
Children's Used Book Fair will be held at the same time!
You can try pounding rice cakes, making shuttlecock feathers, and playing with a bean bag.
If you wish to experience rice cake pounding, please come early!
Date: Sunday, January 12, 2025, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Location: Nishihara Elementary School grounds (gymnasium in case of rain)
Pre-registration: Saturday, December 14, 9:00~11:00
Children's set: 300 yen: Pork miso soup and one of the following: Hagoita, Koma, or Bacoma
At Nishihara Town Council Office (across from the main gate of Nishihara Elementary School)
Pork miso soup (200 yen), quill board, tops, and sesame will also be sold on the day of the event (200 yen each).
(All sales will end as soon as they are gone.)
Please wear a mask if you wish to experience rice cake pounding.
In case of rain, please bring indoor shoes or jacket.
