Hatsudai Community Development Council 12th Open Lecture on the Urban Park Law

date(s) (e.g. for exhibition) 09/08
~ 09/08
summary

Series of public lectures on the theme of parks
Hatsudai is a triangular town bounded by Koshu Kaido, Yamate Dori, and Hatashiro Dori. Along Koshu Kaido, the old Tamagawa Josui waterway, which was culverted, extends as Midorido Park. The park has become a place for children to play and for people to take a walk among the trees. However, due to the aging of the playground equipment and the uprooting of trees, Shibuya Ward has planned to redevelop the park, and explanatory meetings have been held for several years. However, when it was announced that trees would be cut down to make way for the redevelopment, residents began calling for a review of the plan.
The Hatsudai Community Development Council has taken this opportunity to plan a series of lectures on parks, and following the 10th "Parks that are Doing Well and Parks that are Not" and the 11th "Creating a Child-Friendly Community", we will hold the 12th "Urban Parks Law".
What kind of park do we want to leave to the next generation? We look forward to your participation.
