In conjunction with the Yoyogi Hachiman Shrine Festival, the Yoyogi 3-chome Naka-gumi Mutsumi Association is also planning a parade of portable shrines through the town.
Children will be able to borrow hanten (traditional Japanese clothing), so please come and join us from 9:00 a.m. at the Goshinsho (Shrine) located on the Yoyogi Midori-Do (Greenway).
We would appreciate the cooperation of parents in the parade of the children's mikoshi and floats (odaiko).
On the day of the festival, an adult mikoshi will also parade through the 3-chome neighborhood in the afternoon.
Adult bearers are also being recruited. Adult hanten are available for rent, and we look forward to your participation.
Meeting place and shrine: Yoyogi Ryokudo (West approach entrance in Kuru Kuru Park)
*Worship, dedication, offering lantern reception, and hanten rental are also available here.
