In conjunction with the Yoyogi Hachiman Shrine Festival, the Yoyogi 3-chome Naka-gumi Mutsumi Association is also planning a parade of portable shrines through the town.
Children will be able to borrow hanten (traditional Japanese clothing), so please come and join us after registering at the Goshinsho (Shrine of God) that will be set up on Yoyogi Midori-Do (Green Road).
We would appreciate the cooperation of parents in the parade of the children's mikoshi and floats (odaiko).
On the day of the festival, an adult mikoshi will also parade through the 3-chome neighborhood in the afternoon.
Adult bearers are also being recruited. Adult hanten are available for rent, and we look forward to your participation.
Meeting place and shrine: Yoyogi Ryokudo (West approach entrance in Kuru Kuru Park)
*Worship, dedication, offering lantern reception, and hanten rental are also available here.
